Production Assistant / Assembly
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- on a day-to-day basis the Production Associate will use various light production methods and equipment to build our products within our climate controlled plant that is kept at 70F all year round thanks to our energy efficient geothermal heating and cooling system.
- production does require precision and adherence to measured specifications at a productive pace
- production work is not typically physically demanding; you may sit or stand in most cases.
- no heavy lifting, no hot summers or cold winters inside.
- we offer a steady 1st shift 40 hour week
- after settling into your initial responsibilities, we will cross-train you for a number of more advanced operations that will lead to pay raises.
Note: soldering and harness building experience is a plus, if you have experience with soldering and/or related IPC specialist certifications please highlight this in your application.
Schedule
- full-time, 8 hour shift
- Monday – Friday
- 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Manufacturer's Sales Representative
DECA Manufacturing has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Sales Representative.
DECA is an established company with new leadership which is actively pursuing growth. We are looking for a sales professional to prospect, develop new business and service existing business within a geographic territory that includes OH, PA, NY, IN, MI, KY, and IL, as we continue to broaden our reach in the Midwest.
Tactical responsibilities
- qualifying leads to closing sales with existing customers and new prospects
- responsible for achieving revenue objectives as established
- mnage current accounts and attract prospective customers based on corporate and individual lead generation activities
- foster and develop sales channels with partners including distributors and manufacturers representatives
- development and management of territory forecasts and sales reports
- participate in web-based meetings, company trade shows and other strategic marketing initiatives
- collaborate on leads and attend periodic sales meetings to discuss deals in progress and future opportunities.
The ideal candidate will:
- be a self-starter with a positive attitude
- be enthusiastic about manufacturing
- possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- have a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Compensation
- this is a 1099 position.
- compensation is commission-based.
